My client is a well established and highly respected regional IFA business based in the Midlands. Due to a period of strong and sustained growth, it is looking to appoint further IFA’s on a self-employed basis.
Though its office operation is based in Leicester, my client currently boasts an Adviser base stretching throughout the Midlands region. Typically, Advisers tend to operate on a self-employed basis, however, an employed package would be considered for exceptional individuals.
The purpose of the role is to offer independent, whole of market financial advice to a wide range of clients. My client offers in-depth and hands on support with regards to business development, providing excellent business opportunities through the provision of both clients and warm leads. This is a tried and tested facility that consistently delivers and allows Advisers to achieve levels of business otherwise unattainable, though Advisers cannot be solely reliant upon this facility. Therefore it is imperative that any applicant has some form of transferrable client bank in place.
My client offers a substantial support infrastructure, allowing Advisers more time for client facing activities. This includes a team of Paraplanners, meaning all administrative duties such as suitability, research and report writing are dealt with in-house. The firm also features highly experienced, specialist Technical and Compliance teams, resulting in a diverse range of expertise and a compliance regime that operates within FSA guidelines, whilst adopting a ‘can do’ attitude.
As well as possessing some form of client bank, applicants must demonstrate a strong track record of business production. It is also essential that Advisers are making progress towards Level 4 qualification, having already obtained the relevant papers, or being no more than one or two away from qualification
