A major UK broking organisation has an exciting opportunity for Business Development Assistants to join its team in Leeds city centre.
My client is one of the leaders in the UK general insurance market, offering a wealth of competitive products, unrivalled buying power, and some of the most talented staff in the industry. The company controls high levels of premium and has access to outstanding markets from which to source competitive deals for its clients.
You will be responsible for outbound calling existing Affinity Partners to promote the benefits of them recommending their clients to take commercial insurance quotations from your company. You will source leads from your Affinity Partners in relation to their clients’ existing insurance renewal dates, and arrange a time for a new business sales person to contact them. In addition, you will collect as much relevant information as possible to help establish the type of cover required, in order to maximise the chance of securing the business.
A lot of lead generation roles have limited progression, however this company offers a truly outstanding opportunity for career development. You will be actively encouraged to develop your knowledge and skills, including taking Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications, all funded by the company. You will have the opportunity to move into many different areas of the business, should you be a consistent performer.
You will be a confident, outgoing salesperson, with a successful track record in generating leads, business to business, preferably within the insurance industry. You will also be proactive, self-motivated and committed, with a genuine desire to succeed.
